Meet Craig Young
Craig Young is one of the most respected voices in mental health and sports performance in athletics today. As a counselor, speaker, and CEO of Young Consulting Group and President of the Young 9 Foundation, he has spent over 25 years helping athletes, parents, and families navigate the mental and emotional challenges of competitive sports.
He holds a master’s degree in psychology and marriage and family therapy and has worked extensively in the mental health field, including as a school-based therapist. Today, Craig is a sought-after speaker and educator, known for bringing clarity, perspective, and purpose to families navigating high-pressure environments.
Beyond his professional work, Craig brings a deeply personal perspective as the father of Bryce Young, the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
